These support rods will fit most of our hatches. If your hatch has the stainless steel prop rod, you will need to drill a threaded hole to connect this adjustable prop rod.
1) In MOST cases, the B-Arm Slider Casting will screw to the lid (opening section) of the hatch. This will connect via a 1/4"-20 Screw roughly 1-1/4" long. Most of our hatches will have a 'finger' / protrusion on the underside where this would typically be connected.
2) The Rod slides into the Slider casting, and connects to the base of the hatch. This connects via a 5/16"-18 screw. Early model hatches with the stainless prop rod didn't have a connection point for the 5/16" bolt. and you will need to screw this section of the rod into your headliner.
3) The Locking Knob threads into the Sider Casting, and tightens on the Rod to lock the hatch open at any angle to set it to.
